Winton Arts & Media College is about widening horizons. It is an active partnership that believes in reaching the unique potential of every student.
We believe each student is entitled to:
- access excellent learning opportunities wherever they are
- guidance and support in every aspect of his learning
- be inspired and enjoy learning in a safe and stimulating environment
- become an independent learner knowing how best he learns
- be accepted and valued as an individual
We believe each student should be committed to:
- working in an open and honest partnership with staff and parents
- learning
- showing respect for others and himself
We believe each parent/carer should be committed to:
- help raise attainment by supporting learning
- working with the College in developing a trusting partnership
- upholding and contributing to the College’s expectations and values
Each member of staff is entitled to:
- work in a safe and non–threatening environment
- a level of respect that allows them to carry out all the duties required of them
Each member of staff is committed to:
- teaching engaging lessons, informed by data to raise attainment
- demonstrating positive values, attitudes and behaviour
- establishing a safe and purposeful environment
