Student Assessment

Years 7-10

Each year group receives one assessment and one Progress Report per year. The timing of these depends upon the year group. In addition, parents of Year 7 students receive a ‘settling-in report’ at the end of the first half-term. Following receipt of these assessments parents are invited to the College to discuss any relevant matter with the subject teacher, form tutor and Head of Year. In addition the Year 9 SATs and teacher assessments are reported to parents at the end of the Summer Term.

Year 11

Assessments are based upon the mock GCSE examinations taken in November and essential coursework. Following receipt of these assessments, parents are invited to the School to discuss any relevant matter with the subject teacher, form tutor and Head of Year.
