Post School Alternatives

At the end of Year 11 a number of alternatives are available to students.

  1. Those wishing to do so can leave to take up employment or enter a training scheme..
  2. Those who obtain the required number of grades in the GCSE examinations and wish to continue their education beyond this level, can transfer either to institutions offering ‘A’ Levels or equivalent courses and also courses leading to vocational qualifications.

Winton Arts and Media College has a strong tradition of students going on to universities to obtain a degree or other higher qualifications.
