History Department
History is a stimulating and source based course that is a core at KS3 and an option at KS4. It involves the use and interpretation of a wide variety of historical evidence. The course aims to excercise and develop a range of historical skills which are valuable tools for many careers.
The subjects includes the problems of handling sources, identifying bias, recognising propogrands, understanding empathy, the importance of the individual and the in-depth historical background to modern day problems.
