All students throughout the college receive a rich and varied curriculum in line with national expectations. Students throughout Key Stage 3 are taught two hours of high quality PE per week which is in line with government targets set in 2005. Activities taught range from football, rugby and hockey through to trampolining, table tennis and pop lacrosse. Students at Key Stage 4 are taught 3 hours of Physical Education per fortnight. A range of activities is delivered to meet the differing needs of every student throughout the college.

The GCSE course continues to grow in popularity with the Edexcel examining board being used. Students who study the course very often go on to achieve top grades in their final GCSE examination.

The department offers a wide and expansive extra-curricular programme of activities throughout the year and prides itself on providing a personalised curriculum for each and every student at the college.
