RE Department
Religious Studies is part of the core curriculum at the college and is studied by students throughout Key Stages 3 and 4. During years 7, 8 and 9 students follow a curriculum that fits in with the current national agenda regarding Religious Studies. Key topics are covered with an empathy and understanding that allows all students to express opinion and generate personal beliefs.
At Key Stage 4 all students study a short course GCSE in either Religious Education or Ethics and Philosophy. On the completion of this course half a GCSE grade is awarded with many students achieving top grades in the subject.
