Bullying Policy
At Winton we aim promote an atmosphere where bullying in any of its forms (including so called cybernet bullying) will not take place. We seek to establish a strong ethos in which relationships are based on mutual respect, trust, caring and consideration for others. Students should feel able to tell teachers if they are bullied or they witness bullying in the knowledge that all incidents will be recorded and acted upon promptly. Opportunities are provided within the curriculum to enable students to express their views on bullying and to develop the social skills required to help prevent such incidents. Parents and other outside agencies are actively encouraged to work with the school to overcome the problems associated with bullying.
